A Kitchen Built for 8

This beautiful old Victorian located in Malden, MA had amazing bones but was in need of a complete kitchen transformation. The kitchen was broken up into several small areas that had limited storage, limited counter space, a large chimney running through it and a refrigerator that needed to be in another room. Our goal was to design a space that the Family of 8 could use as its’ hub of the household. We first opened the entire space to increase the kitchen square footage. With big gatherings in mind we designed a beautiful cook’s kitchen with Subzero and Wolf appliances. An island was installed with beautiful Calacatta Leon quartz countertops to increase storage and add functional space for the family. We chose white Siteline cabinets to play perfectly off of the gray subway tile backsplash. New Marvin Windows were installed to bring in more natural light and half moon pendants were installed over the island to illuminate the space.
