About This Project

Second Generation Lee Kimball Kitchen

PROBLEM
Our clients asked us to redesign the kitchen in their family home. Interestingly, it had been originally created in the 1970s by our grandfather. One caveat: The homeowner had an emotional attachment to the custom copper hood from the original kitchen.
SOLUTION
To better serve these gourmet cooks and serious coffee lovers, we enlarged the kitchen by opening it to the foyer. The main area now includes the latest, high-end appliances, granite counters, and extensive storage. A separate coffee brewing center has its own sink and half dishwasher. The original copper hood has been refurbished and outfitted with an updated ventilation system to accommodate the modern Wolf range.
